Hello! It’s that time of the week again to share with you another Fall Trend that is going strong right now. If you haven’t seen it already the tone Espresso is piping hot right now. Think rich and deep chocolate browns and coffee inspired tones. Monochromatic browns are highly favored as retailers are showcasing tons of these looks on their websites and socials. Let’s get into it with my top picks for the Espresso trend.

Bomber jackets are everywhere and I think at this point they’re here to stay for a bit. They make a great transition piece when temps start to dip and you don’t need a heavy coat just yet. This Kaiia Exclusive Faux Suede Bomber Jacket in chocolate is by ASOS. I like how you can utilize a bomber jacket to throw over something basic like jeans and a t-shirt, but you can also really elevate the look with incorporating other monochromatic pieces like espresso toned shorts, a top and tights like in the photo above.

This Velvet Halter Top by H&M in Deep Brown is so unique. The high cowl neck with the fringe detail on the ties gives it sophistication, and although pictured above with black slacks, I think I would also be paired beautifully with a satin midi skirt or dark flare jeans.

Next up is this GORGEOUS Ruched Satin Midi Dress by Zara. I think this dress is both romantic and sexy and can be layered and styled in so many different ways. That’s the beauty of a good slip dress- you can wear it alone or add to it. For a daytime look, I would pair it with a moto or bomber jacket and boots similar to the photo above. If you needed to dress it up, add a faux fur coat or scarf with sling back heels.

Ok so most of you know I was living in Europe for the past three years. I took many trips to Paris and other European cities. Some of my most recent trips to Paris (March and May of this year) I spotted EVERYONE wearing either faux or real fur on the streets. This is a trend exploding here in the states this season (I plan on writing an entire blog just on faux fur). I’m obsessed with this Zeleia Long Faux Fur Coat from VICI Collection. Need something for an upcoming holiday party? These Chocolate Velvet Wide Leg Trousers from Mango are a must. Not to mention they will keep you warm and these can be a part of your holiday wardrobe again and again.

Ok this next look is a whole vibe. This ASOS DESIGN high neck cord midi dress with hardware in chocolate would be perfect for Thanksgiving or if you have a holiday or Fall photoshoot coming up. I really love the hardware details that is reminiscent of the early 2000s. I had a belt just like this!

Want something a little more causal and everyday? I personally own this Brown Chunky Knit Button Cardigan by PRETTYGARDEN from Amazon. This cardigan is slightly cropped with a loose fit looks great with jeans. I’ve worn it both opened and buttoned up, but my new favorite way is to drape it over my shoulders. This is a great buy and comes in so many different colors.

Let’s talk shoes…I found this Slouchy Ankle Boot from Amazon which has great reviews. The pointed toe look is hot right now, and these boots have a side zipper. Dress them up with a maxi or mini skirt, or pair them with jeans or trousers.

Everyone needs a knit sweater, but what I want to show you is all the things you can do with a good knit sweater. As I mentioned previously we are seeing a lot of monochromatic looks with retailers and being showcased on campaigns. This Basic Knit Sweater by Zara is the perfect example of how to style a very basic knit top, but taking it to another level with accessories like a scarf and finding other tone matching pieces. Also note the gold hardware on the sleeves. Little details like these can bring elegance and style to your outfit.
