Hello and welcome back! After a bit of a hiatus, I wanted to get back to sharing and creating trend boards for the upcoming year. With that being said, Pinterest recently dropped their Pinterest Predicts 2026 list, featuring 21 trend predictions based on surging search results. Most of the trends fall into the beauty and fashion category, but some are listed in the home decor realm. I won’t go over all 21 trends, however I decided to cover some of my favorites based on the trends I think will make the most impact in 2026.
First up- the Vamp Romantic Trend. This is also known as Dark Romance or Gothic Revival. Either way I’m really excited about this. For most of us that are still in colder temps, this one is easy to wear and we are already seeing the influence of this trend in stores and on the red carpet. Also note- searches for dark romantic makeup was up 160%+
Margo Robbie was recently seen kicking off the “Wuthering Heights” press tour wearing the perfect example of the Vamp Romantic trend wearing a bell sleeved Victorian-esque mini dress by Roberto Cavalli and a gothic style jeweled necklace.

When we think of Vamp Romantic otherwise known as Dark Romance, I think most will think dark styles are reserved only for Fall, but plenty of designers showcased dark fabrics with intricate embroidery and embellishments for their Spring/Summer 2026 collections. Also the Dracula A Love Tale movie is finally in theaters here in the states. Critics and move watchers have stated this is not a typical horror movie, but touches on the love story between Dracula and his beloved wife.
Want to create some vamp romantic looks? Here’s what I found in stores and online.

I found this stunning exaggerated cape maxi dress by DESIGN BY ASOS. I LOVE the drama of the cape… can you imagine walking into a room, then stirring off quickly with this cape trailing behind you…in a castle!? It’s what dark romantic dreams are made of.

There’s something about this dress that feels poetic. It might be the lace overlay, and the movement created by the ruffles and the tiered hem. This Glenmere lace midi dress by VICI Collection is perfect for all the romantic feels.

If you looking to try something sleek but feeling a little risqué, this Asymmetric lace dress by MANGO is a great option. It’s fitted brown lace without sleeves works perfect as a transitional piece (think winter into Spring, Summer into Fall). The top portion appears to be transparent lace, however you can aways wear a moto jacket or blazer over this look to keep it modest if needed.

Ok, when I saw this corset dress, I thought this is exactly what I think of when I hear the term “Dark Romance”. This style and silhouette I’m already starting to see on and off the runway. I also think this silhouette will be a big hit during wedding season. I found this gorgeous tiered corset gown by Blondie Nites at Nordstrom. THIS instead of jeans, is what I’d love to wear…

Does anyone remember the dark vampy style of the 90s? This whole look even the hair and makeup on the model, is reminiscent of those times. The VELVET SLIP DRESS ZW COLLECTION by Zara in my opinion is a classic piece that you could wear again and again. I think you could style it differently based on the season too. Dress it up or dress it down.

Let’s talk beauty for a second. The Vamp Romantic trend isn’t just achieved by clothing, it’s achieved by beauty as well. Charlotte Tilberry has a palette that is ACTUALLY called Vintage Vamp that contains beautiful shadows to create a smoky burgundy look. The Vamp Romantic trend isn’t limited to dark black and blue shadows but focuses also on brick burgundy and copper shades. Another palette I love is the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia of Beverly Hills. This is an oldie but goodie that I plan on repurchasing again.

Let’s chat accessories for a moment…I’ve made it my goal to wear and invest in more jewelry with crosses. Mainly because I love wearing my faith. I found this designer who has some beautiful and unique pieces. The Amparo Rosary Earrings by Vanessa Mooney are my top pick, along with The Alexandra Necklace, both 18 karat gold dipped brass adorned with Mother Mary.
One more I found if you are liking the bejeweled vibe is this Le Bisou Halo Heart Pendant Necklace by Nadri.

Last but not least I think socks are going to be a hit in the fashion world this year. What I mean is in Europe, socks have already been utilized as a fashion statement…from lace, to socks with embellishments, to different colors, etc. These lace socks by Maison Close are the finishing touch to the vamp romantic trend. These can be worn with a midi dress or skirt, or under some slacks.
I hope you enjoyed the Vamp Romantic trend board. Stay tuned for more fashion and beauty updates.
