Welcome to Unapologetically Glam where we dissect current and upcoming trends in the fashion world. I want to first apologize, as I was hoping to get this Spring edition out in February, however I’m currently in the East Coast where the snow just barely melted a week ago. We are finally getting into Spring weather here, which means we get to hopefully retire our winter coats and boots until next season. *update- It was 85 degrees yesterday and it’s currently snowing as I type this!*
I’ve been doing a lot of research as far as what’s “ready to wear” now in realtime. The following are eight different silhouettes and styles that are currently dominating the retail world for Spring 2026. Enjoy!

Heads up- romance is back and we’ve already seen hints of this during Fall/Winter 2025. However, corset dresses and silhouettes are everywhere now. Target has this beautiful Floral Corset Mini Dress, along with a midi version.

Polka dots are making a comeback and I’m here for it. Polka dots are classic and have always exuded femininity. We’re seeing polka dots in swimwear and accessories too. My current obsession is this Mini Polka Dot Dress by Zara. This dress reminds me of something I would wear on the Italian Coast.

Get ready for some one shoulder action. This Asymmetrical Flared -Sleeve Jumpsuit from Mango is a great pick as a Spring transition outfit, when the weather is getting warm in the day but still cool at night.

Oh Lacey- Lace is going to be BIG in 2026, from clothing, to accessories and table scapes. Different variations of lace are currently being seen across the apparel world. The Paulette Floral Crochet Lace Mini Dress by VICI COLLECTION is my current pick. White lace dresses are classic for Spring and you can have this dress on repeat for years to come.

A common style I’m seeing across the board with designers and retailers are ruffles and draping. Ruffles and draping can be bold or subtle, but which ever you choose will guarantee an elegant look. Check out this Toast Season Ruffle Chiffon Mini Dress by VICI Collection– it’s divine!

The Western Edit- I’m beyond excited about this. I know depending on where you live, this might be considered year round style, however the western style influence is making a splash across designers and retailers. Ralph Lauren recently hosted a men’s fashion show where western silhouettes were everywhere. Think denim, crochet lace and suede fabrics and don’t forget your boots and hat! Target currently has a western collection in stores now. The True West Chambray Maxi Dress by VICI Collection is versatile for Spring, Summer and Fall!

Fringe Details- Fringe making a comeback is a great indication that we are moving further away from minimalistic styles and aiming for a more bolder and expressive look. Fringe purses, clothing and shoes are everywhere right now. My pick is the Flowy Satin Effect Fringed Top by Zara. ASOS also has some beautiful fringe pieces.

Asymmetrical- When I think of Asymmetrical last being big in fashion, I think of the mid 2000s when celebrities were walking the red carpet with an asymmetrical dress over jeans. However this time around there are so many variations that can be much more elevated than how we styled it in the 2000s. I found this ASOS Topshop twisted shoulder linen mix asymmetric top in ecru. Style this over a mini skirt or slacks.
I hope you enjoyed this post on Spring silhouettes and styles to look out for. I plan on continuing to break down each of these styles a little more in posts to come. Happy Spring!
