Hello! We are officially in the Fall season, as we are ending September and approaching October. Let’s chat about the Fall Edit: Specifically the Lace trend. We have been seeing a surge in lace clothing and accessories since last Fall but this year, designers and retailers are going full force with the lace trend. Back in January I made a post about a trend prediction of Vamp Romantic styles which are heavily adorned with lace, ornate embellishments, ruffles and fabric with a lot of movement.
I personally love anything with lace, as it exudes femininity. I have pieces with lace that I wear year round, whether it’s “on trend” or not. I share a lot of trends here at Unapologetically Glam, but I’m also a big believer in wearing what feels good to you now. Here are my curated picks for the lace trend.

This black lace top seems like something very basic, but can be worn in so many different ways. The Afternoon Still Lace Trim Tank by VICI Collection is a great choice for a staple lace tank. As seen above worn with jeans, you can also pair it with a midi skirt and a moto jacket for some edge.

If you are someone who is looking for a subtle amount of lace, this Lace Knit Sweater by Zara is another great option to have in your Fall wardrobe collection. It’s versatile and can be worn well into Winter and Spring.

This next option is a piece I would LOVE to own. It reminds me of something Fran Drescher would wear in the TV show The Nanny. Perfect for a cocktail party or a date night. I found this Nourish Lace Trim Satin Cocktail Dress by Princess Polly at Nordstrom.

Just a heads up- midi skirts are going to be everywhere and well into the Spring and Summer of next year. This trend prediction is based on what we just witnessed this last week at New York Fashion Week. This Lace Midi Skirt by Abercrombie also comes in white.

Circling back to the Vamp Romantic trend I mentioned earlier this year, this ASOS DESIGN Angel Sleeve Lace Top in Black is a perfect choice for something dark and romantic.

If you love something a little more dramatic, romantic and bold, this Leanie Blouse by SÈZANE is a GORGEOUS choice. Made with Ecru lace and natural materials, this is a high quality find with beautiful intricate details. I would consider this an investment piece you wear for many years to come.

Speaking of high quality pieces, my goal this year is to invest in more high quality pieces, when I can. It’s tough in the current retail market with many designers turning to synthetic fibers. Unfortunately these pieces will not last as long as a garment made of natural more durable fibers. This is why I love retailers like Quince. This Lace Skirt by Quince is made of 100% Mulberry Silk and it machine washable! This skirt comes in other shades like champagne, vintage pink and chocolate plum brown.

Yes, I know Summer is over but I think you can still be bold and pull of white (or cream) after Labor Day. This whole set by Zara is a vibe, but lets focus on the lace trim shorts… You can wear these shorts in warmer weather (Howdy, from Texas) but you can also get creative and pair these shorts with a long sleeved mock turtleneck top, throw a blazer and some boots and you’ve got a complete Fall outfit.

Calling all bohemian babes and flower children: These pants were made for you! The Mariah Lace Wide Leg Pants by VICI Collection are my top pick for lace pants. I really love the wide leg silhouette, and not to mention pulling these pants off with a monochromatic look is also a great choice.

Speaking of another bohemian lace pick, I found this gorgeous Lace short dress by MANGO. The flowy sheer fabric and lace detail make it easy to have an effortless ultra feminine look. No need to overthink with accessories, the dress itself is a statement. You can pair it with boots, but I think this dress would also go lovely with the right pair of heels.

Last but not least, this Greyson Satin Lace Trim Off The Shoulder Blouse by VICI Collection is one of my top picks for this trend board. There’s something about navy blue with black lace that exudes sexiness and confidence. You can wear it with jeans, but I plan on wearing it with a black leather mini skirt and boots. You can also wear it off the shoulder or as a boatneck blouse.
I hope you enjoyed this post of curated Lace looks for Fall.
Cheers!
